About Us

Barratts Fine Meats has been a quality family butcher in Rhode since the early 1970s. The shop on Font-Y-Gary Road dates back to before the First World War, when it was run by a local dairyman selling milk, cheese and provisions. Robin Barratt took over the shop in 1970, making him the fourth owner of the building, and the business has remained in the Barratt family ever since. Today, the shop is run by Robin's son, Matthew, together with his wife Victoria.
